What a night! Rise of the Dreamer’s launch party was a great success on Saturday night, with over 60 people attending Crow Street Creative. 18 of those people got to take home amazing lucky door prizes, and everyone got to eat the delicious food including risotto, pulled pork rolls, thai chicken balls, pumpking soup, sticky date pudding, caramel tarts and much more! I owe Katie Wilson a HUGE thank you for catering for me, if it’s the food that makes the event, then the food alone made the launch amazing. It was so nice to see friends, family and many new faces all keen to celebrate with me and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for supporting me.

I have many people to thank for making Rise of the Dreamer’s launch party the success that it was.
My MC Tash, I’m not someone who is overly comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people, but it was much easier knowing I had her by my side. My friends and family who gave up their own time to help me set up, serve food, give out tickets and more; My mum Jane, sister Lisa, Kylie, Charmaine, Aimee, Valeria, Casey, Petra, Katey and Jacqui. They made the entire night stress free. I was also incredibly lucky to have my good friend Kylie do my hair and help pick my outfit, and to have Robyn from Mary Kay to do my make up. Ann-Maree, not only is she my very talented cover designer, she also designed my flyers, made my banners and created the DREAMER projection for the wall. I am incredibly lucky to have such supportive friends and family and I couldn’t do this without their help and encouragement.

Always cheering me on from the sidelines is my husband Tim and our two beautiful children. They inspire me and encourage me to do what I love every day… WRITE!
